Prunus ‘Okame’ (Flowering Cherry) does well in many sites and produces an abundance of blooms. This cherry grows to 25’ tall with a similar spread. Pink flowers appear early in the season, late March to mid-April. Fall foliage is bright orange and yellow. Plant it in full sun; prune to shape it when it’s young. Hardy in zones 6 to 8. |
